Paul Priestley Sr.

EDGEWATER, FL/LEICESTER, MA—Paul A. Priestley, Sr, 79, died Wednesday, October 3, 2018.
He is predeceased by his wife of 39 years, Barbara Priestley. He leaves three daughters, Deborah
Carkin and her husband William of Sutton, Elizabeth Priestley and her husband John Wintersteller of
Santa Monica, CA, and Christine Curci and her husband Anthony of Barre, a son, Paul Priestley, Jr. and
his wife Sarah of Hardwick, his brother Walter Priestley and his wife Marcia of Boylston, four
stepchildren, June Fish and her husband Mitchell, Susan Streeter, Henry Kobel and his fiance Debbie
Wells, and Lori-Ann Piracci and her husband Valentino, sixteen grandchildren, and many nieces and
nephews.
Born in Worcester, he was the son of Edward and Laura (Dandro) Priestley. Paul graduated from
Worcester Boys Trade. He retired from the local 96 International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers
after 50 years of dedicated service. He was a member of the Dolphin Athletic Club of Edgewater, FL.
Paul enjoyed his time traveling, camping and socializing with friends. His greatest enjoyment was
spending time in the warm weather of Florida with his wife.
A service will be held on Friday, November 2 at 2 p.m. at St Joseph's Cemetery, Waite St., Leicester,
MA. There are no calling hours.
