Pauline J. "Paula" Swedis

SPENCER: Pauline J. "Paula" (Duguay) Swedis, 74, of R Jones Road died Friday, October 12 in St. Vincent Hospital after an illness.
Her husband John T. "Jack" Swedis died in 2015. She leaves two sons; Scott M. Swedis of Spencer and Joshua N. Swedis and his wife Carina of Worcester, a daughter Heather M. Benham and her husband Scott of Spencer, two grandchildren; John and Alison Benham, a sister Alice Bernard of Swansea and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers; Donald and Paul Duguay and a sister Irene Perry.
Paula was a hairdresser for many years at Town House Coiffures in Auburn. She enjoyed crocheting, bingo and bowling. She was an avid Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots fan.
A Memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 18 at 11:00 AM in J. Henri Morin & Son Funeral Home, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. A calling hour will precede the service from 10:00-11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Children's Tumor Foundation, 120 Wall Street, 16th Floor, New York, NY 10005-4002.
