Phillip-John Lacroix-Desroches

LEICESTER: Phillip –John LaCroix-Desroches, 26 of White Birch St., died suddenly Sunday, Sept. 7 in St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester.

He leaves his father Edward P. Desroches with whom he lived, a sister Courtney M. LaCroix-Desroches of Leicester, Paternal Grandmother Joan Desroches of Cherry Valley, Maternal Grandmother Nancy LaCroix of Webster, Paternal Great Grandmother Rita O'Donnell of Shrewsbury, and his longtime girlfriend Chelsey Downey of Spencer, several aunts, uncles and cousins. He is predeceased by his mother Kelly Ann LaCroix in 1999.

PJ was born in Worcester, and later graduated from Leicester High School in 2006 and Le Cordon Bleu Culinary School in New Hampshire. He was an accomplished chef who had worked at Disney World, Sole Proprietor and Zimmy's Restaurants. He was an avid sportsman and enjoyed disc golf, soccer, hockey and motor cross.

"PJ was the light of our lives and will be deeply missed".

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, Sept. 13 at 10a.m. in St. Pius X Church, 1153 Main St., Leicester. There are no calling hours. Friends are asked to go directly to the church, a "Celebration of Life" will be held following at the Knights of Columbus Hall, Manville St., Leicester. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice. MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester is directing arrangements for the family.
