WORCESTER: Phyllis M. (King) Langevin, 89, of Barry Road and formerly of Spencer died peacefully on Friday, Sept. 4.
Her husband of 63 years, Wifred W. Langevin died in 2008. She leaves two daughters; Patricia Ciullo and her husband James and April Boisvert and her husband William both of Holden, three grandsons Keith and Jeffery Morrison both of Spencer and Scott Morrison of Holden, a granddaughter Melissa Boisvert of Westford and two greatgrandchildren, Chelsea and Kayla Morrison. She was pre-deceased by a daughter Anne H. Morrison.
Mrs. Langevin was born in Winchcombe, Gloucestershire, England, daughter of John and Ethel (Gouth) King. She came to this country in 1946 at the end of World War II and lived in Spencer for 55 years.
Mrs. Langevin was a secretary at Paul Revere Life Insurance Company for 19 years retiring in 1983. She was one of the founders of the Spencer Arts and Crafts Association and an active member. She was also a member of the Historical Society and Friends of the Richard Sugden Library in Spencer. Phyllis and her husband enjoyed traveling to visit family and friends in England and to many other countries. She enjoyed gardening, knitting, painting, reading, jigsaw puzzles and sewing quilts for the Linus Project and for the Veterans. She especially loved the time spent with family.
Funeral Services and burial in Pine Grove Cemetery, Spencer are private. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Friends of the Richard Sugden Library, 8 Pleasant Street, Spencer, MA 01562. J. HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer is directing arrangements.
