Randy S. Burdett, Sr.

SPENCER; Randy S. Burdett, Sr., 74, died peacefully, Monday, January 13th at his home surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Marilyn J. (Beaudin) Burdett who died in 2014. He leaves his son, Randy S. Burdett, Jr. and his significant other Anne Best, his two children Nicholas and Danielle Burdett, his significant other, Marieke Mulder, her two children, Louie and Kiana Torres, four brothers; Ronald "Red" Burdett, Roy Burdett and his wife Judy, Rex Burdett and his wife Denise, Richard Burdett and his significant other, Sherry, two sisters, Rae "Bonnie" Wilber and her husband Rick, Rain Shultz and four great grandchildren all of Spencer.
Born in Worcester, he was the son of Roy W. & Dorothy E. (Prince) Burdett. He was a graduate from David Prouty High School class of 1969 and also received his associates in business from Becker College. He served his country in the Army during the Vietnam War. Randy worked most of his life as a paver and prior to his retirement in 1983 he was working with Amorello Paving. He was an avid hunter, enjoyed plowing snow and mostly, spending time with and taking care of his family.
A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, January 23rd at 11 A.M. in the J. HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer, burial with military honors will follow in Mary, Queen of the Rosary Cemetery, Spencer. Calling hours are Wednesday from 5-7 P.M. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Veterans Inc., 69 Grove St. Worcester, MA 01605.
