Richard T. Becker

LEICESTER: Richard T. Becker, 60, died Sunday, May 25th at St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester after an illness. He leaves his wife of 19 years, Angela M. (Bartolomei) Becker, a son, Joshua Becker of Daytona Beach, FL., a daughter, Emily Becker of Alexandria, VA., a stepdaughter Keira Powell and son in law Corey Mooney of Maynard, MA., his aunt and uncle, Gerald & Carol Becker of Manteca, CA. Born in Boston, he was the son of Mary Becker.

Richard graduated from Wachusett Regional High School in Holden MA, where he competed on their gymnastics team and played saxophone in the band. He also attended North Texas State. He was an accomplished woodworker and musician. He enjoyed motorcycle riding and building projects in his workshop.

At the family's request there are no services planned. Contributions may be made in Richard's name to the American Lung Association of New England, 460 Totten Pond Rd., Suite 400, Waltham, MA 02451. The MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester is assisting the family with arrangements.
