Rita T. Vink

SPENCER: Rita T. (Farland) Vink, 74, of Smithville Road died Friday, Oct. 12 in Citra, FL while visiting her sister.

She leaves her husband Bernard T. Vink, a son John P. Vink of Spencer, a daughter Jean M. Vink of Brooklyn, NY, a sister Carol Lorusso and her husband Paul of Citra, FL.

Mrs. Vink was born in Spencer, daughter of Armand and Mary (Desjardins) Farland. She was a Supervisor at State Mutual Insurance Co. in Worcester for 15 years retiring in 1969. She enjoyed playing bingo, going to the Casino and traveling with her husband. They recently celebrated their 50th. wedding anniversary on Sept. 29th.

The Funeral will be held Friday, Oct. 19 from J. HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer with a Mass at 10:00 am. in St. John the Baptist Church, North Brookfield Road, East Brookfield. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A calling hour will precede the funeral from 8:30-9:30 am. on Friday. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Second Chance Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 136, East Brookfield, MA 01515.
