Robert J. Catlow, Sr.

SPENCER: Robert J. Catlow Sr. (Bob), 85, of Spencer, and formerly of West Warwick, Rhode Island and Palm Bay, Florida, died Wednesday, February 12th at home, surrounded by loved ones.

Bob is predeceased by his wife of 61 years Dotty Catlow. He leaves his son Robert J. Catlow Jr., his partner Stacey Fisher, daughter Donna (Catlow) Viens, and his treasured son-in-law Alan. He was the beloved grandfather (Papa) of Nicholas Catlow and his wife Amanda, Kaitlin (Catlow) Mizzoni, Victoria (Viens) Smith and her husband John, Brandon Catlow, Gabriel Viens, Dakota Viens and his wife Hannah, Jarett Viens and his wife Bryana, Jessica Catlow, Ayden Viens and Hunter Viens. He was adored by his 11 great-grandchildren, Aivah, Brielle, Mason, Robert, Isabella, Sophia, Jackson, Marshall, Malcolm, Lincoln and Colby. He also leaves his beloved furry companion, Sissy.

Bob was born in Providence, RI and lived for many years in West Warwick, RI, Palm Bay, FL, and Attleboro, MA. Bob was an Army Veteran who proudly served his country in the 3rd Armored Division in Germany. After the service, Bob owned numerous gas stations and made many friends over the years. Bob worked at Star City Glass and Foster Forbs.

From NASCAR to football, car shows, and Fox News, Bob would change the TV channel to share his common interests with whoever came to visit. Whether it was a daily "good morning" text or a weekly "how are you doing" Bob always kept in touch with his people.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 8th at 1pm at the Oakland Beach Volunteer Fireman's Club at 645 Oakland Beach Ave. Warwick, RI.
