Robert Gilbert "Bob" Lauder

LEICESTER: Robert Gilbert "Bob" Lauder, 76, died Wednesday, October 21st at his home, which he built with his own hands, surrounded by his loving family, after a long battle with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP).He leaves his wife of almost 55 years, Robin L. (Mierzejewski) Lauder, two sons, Jason M. Lauder, Joel Toby Lauder and his wife Gina, a daughter, Kylie A. Lindberg and her husband Stephen all of Leicester, two brothers, Richard A. Lauder and his wife Linda of No. Brookfield, Thomas A. Lauder and his wife Susan of Leicester, two sisters, Beth E. Williams of Lancaster, Jane E. Horuzek and her husband Richard of Worcester, six grandchildren; Elizabeth, Nina, Tighe, Rocco, Bodhi, Wesley; sisters-in-law Kim and Caroline, and several nieces and nephews. 

He was predeceased by two brothers, Terry D. Lauder in 2002 and Douglas K. Lauder in 2018. Born in Worcester, he was the son of Rickidie A. & Marion L. (Gilbert) Lauder. He was a graduate of Leicester High School and attended the Andover Institute of Business. He served his country in the Army National Guard. Bob was a workaholic and owner of B&TLC Foundations, Leicester, for 34 years, retiring in 2021. He was a devoted husband and a loving and patient father and grandfather. He enjoyed spending time in his garden and on his tractors. He loved attending all of his children's athletic events as they grew up and continued to enjoy going to Friday night high school football games even after his children had graduated. 

A funeral service will be held Monday, October 26th at 10 A.M. in the Greenville Baptist Church, 674 Pleasant St., Rochdale. Burial will follow in Greenville Baptist Cemetery. Calling hours are Sunday, October 25th from 2-4 P.M. in the MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St. Leicester. Those attending the service are asked to go directly to the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Leicester Football Alumni Association, PO Box 63, Leicester, MA 01524.
