Robert A. Popowicz

NO.BROOKFIELD: Robert A. Popowicz,72, of No.Brookfield, died Saturday, April 13th in Hartford Hospital after a brief illness.He leaves his son, Vance J. Popowicz with whom he lived, his sisters; Donnamarie Marhefka of Spencer and Charlene Carrington of Leicester, many nieces and nephews. He is predceased by brothers Alan Popowicz in 2021 and Paul Popowicz in 2019.
Bob was an admissions clerk at St. Vincent's Hospital in Worcester for many years prior to his retirement in 2017.
He was born in Worcester, the son of Theodore and Charlotte (Erickson) Popowicz. Bob was an avid long distance bicyclist.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, April 19th. from 2 to 4 p.m. in the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Parkinson's Disease Assoc., 72 East Concord St., C3, Boston, MA 02118.
