Roger A. Burhans

SPENCER: Roger A. Burhans,69, of Spencer, died Sunday, Feb. 12th. at St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester.
He leaves his wife of 18 years, Christine M. (Steuterman) Burhans, his son; Ryan Burhans of Col., his daughter; Jessica Burhans of Worcester, his grandsons; Joshua and Jacob Saunders, a sister; Cindy Cray of N.J., and a brother; Chris Burhans of Fl.,nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by a step son; Ricky Saunders in 2011.
Roger worked in the paint dept. at the Auburn Home Depot for 10 years, retiring last year. He previously was a mechanical engineer for Micro E. Systems in Natick until 2008.
He was born in Utica, NY., the son of Rodney and Carole (Beneway) Burhans.
At his request, no funeral services are planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Second Chance Animal Services, P.O. Box 136, E.Brookfield, MA 01515.
