Ronald L. "Hunna" Barnes Sr.

EAST BROOKFIELD; Ronald L. "Hunna" Barnes, Sr., 75, of 298 West Main St., died Friday, October 15 at Saint Vincent Hospital after an illness.
He leaves his wife of 51 years, Sandra E. (Parker) Barnes, two sons, Ronald L. Barnes, Jr. and his wife Justine, Robbie J. Barnes and his wife Michelle, two brothers, Raymond Barnes, Jr. and his wife RaeAnn, Richard Barnes and his wife Catherine, four grandchildren; Alexis, Kane, Emma and Jack Barnes all of East Brookfield.
Born in Ware, he was the son of Raymond & Olive (Lynds) Barnes, Sr.
He was a graduate of David Prouty High School in Spencer. Hunna was owner/operator of Barnes Sanitation for over 50 years and was working right up until he took ill. He loved working on cars and earlier in life enjoyed racing them.
A Graveside Service will take place on Friday, October 22 at 11 A.M. in Evergreen Cemetery, East Brookfield. At the family's request no other services are planned.
The J. HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer are assisting the family with arrangements.
