SPENCER: Rosalie Mittelstadt, nee Moschak, passed away on March 29, 2024, in Spencer, MA, at the age of 83. She was born on October 5, 1940, in Binghamton, NY.
Rosalie will be fondly remembered for her outgoing nature, kindness, generosity, and spirited sense of humor. She was energetic, adventurous, and always ready to assist those in need.
She is survived by her daughters Wendy Fortin and Karen Langlie, their spouses Jeff and Michael, as well as her brother Edward Moschak. Rosalie was preceded in death by her spouse Dr. Michael C. Mittelstadt, and her siblings Mike Moschak, George Moschak, John Moschak, Anne Gardner, Helen Hudanich, and Margaret Pragacz.
Rosalie was a graduate of Binghamton High School and went on to have a successful career with her interior design business.
She worshipped at Mary Queen of the Rosary Parish in Spencer, MA, and Our Lady of Sorrows in Vestal, NY. Rosalie enjoyed being a part of the gardening club, church choir, traveling both locally and abroad, supporting music and the arts, and she was an active member of the Binghamton University Women's group.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, May 10th. at 11 a.m.in Our Lady of the Rosary Church. 7 Church St., Spencer to celebrate Rosalie's life. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Mass. Chapter of the Alzheimer's Assoc., 320 Nevada St., Suite 201, Newton, MA .02460. The J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr, Spencer is assisting the family with arrangements.
