Ruth G. (Gregory) Dufault

SPENCER; Ruth G. (Gregory) Dufault, 94, of 106 Charlton Rd., died Saturday, June 9 at Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester.

She was the wife of Charles U. Dufault who died in 1996.

She leaves two sons; Richard N. Dufault of Spencer, Robert E. Dufault of Brookfield, two daughters; Jane M. Benoit and her husband Joseph of Spencer, Carol A. Dufault of Spencer, a brother Amos G. Gregory of Winterhaven, FLA, 6 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was pre-deceased by two brothers; Norman M. and Edgar W. Gregory.

She was born in Putnam, CT, the daughter of George W. & Ella N. (Larocque) Gregory.

Mrs. Dufault was a shoe worker for 25 years at Capital Shoe Co. in Worcester and Klevin Shoe Co. in Spencer, retiring in 1979.

She was a life long member and the oldest living member of the First United Methodist Church of Spencer and enjoyed singing in the choir and working the thrift sales.

She was a member of the Spencer Golden Age and the Republican Town Committee for many years. She also worked as an inspector at the polls during the towns elections.

She enjoyed sewing, playing cards with family and friends, singing in the church choir and going to BINGO.

A Graveside Service will be Saturday, June 16 at 10 A.M. in Pine Grove Cemetery, Spencer. At the family's request no other services are planned.
