Ruth Simpson

EAST BROOKFIELD: Ruth (Ustinovich) Simpson, 61, Podunk Road died Wednesday, Jan. 9 in UMass Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.

She leaves her husband of 40 years Neil R. Simpson. Ruth was the loving mother of two sons Matthew B. Simpson and his wife Jennifer of Southbridge and Jeremy M. Simpson of Leicester, three beloved grandchildren Cameron, Addison & Mackenzie Simpson, two brothers Anthony L. Ustinovich of Worcester and Raymond J. Ustinovich of Florida, two sisters Jeannie Marie Modig of Millbury and Cynthia Jarvis of Beverly and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a brother Andrew Ustinovich, Jr.

Ruth was born in Worcester, daughter of Andrew and Monica T. (Yankus) Ustinovich. She was a manager at Minuteman Corrugated Corp. for many years and was currently a wax room technician for the last 18 months. She played slow pitch softball with several teams in Oxford and Southbridge several years ago. She enjoyed gardening, loved animals and long walks in the pasture land surrounding her property.

At Ruth's request funeral services and burial were private. J. HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer handled funeral arrangements.
