Sally M. O'Brien

Sally M. (Washburn) O'Brien, 86, of 92 Brown Street in the Cherry
Valley section of Leicester died Monday, June 25 in Parsons Hill Nursing
Home.
Her husband Joseph O'Brien died in 1980. She leaves a daughter Joan F.
Clark of Leicester, a sister Mary Mosher of Leicester, two grandchildren and
two great-grandchildren.
Mrs. O'Brien was born in Worcester daughter of Charles and Sarah
(Millett) Washburn. She graduated from Leicester High School and Worcester
City Hospital School of Nursing. She was a Nurse for many years at
Worcester City Hospital, Fairlawn Hospital and Hermitage Nursing Home before
retiring in 1995.
A Memorial service will be held Saturday, June 30 in St. Pius X Church,
1154 Main Street, Leicester at 10:00 AM. Burial will be private at St.
John's Cemetery, Worcester. There are no calling hours. MORIN-MORRISON
FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main Street, Leicester is directing arrangements. In
lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer
Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
