Sandra Evans

OXFORD: Sandra M. (Mongeau) Evans 63 of 57 Main St., formerly of Southbridge and Webster, died Thursday, Jan. 20 at her home.

She was the wife of George A. Evans, Sr. who died in 1997. She leaves her three sons George A. Evans, Jr., Bruce D. and James Evans all of Webster and her daughter Joyce M. Clemmey of Webster, 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandson, several nieces and nephews. She was one of a family of 17 children.

Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of Eugene and Florence (Lacoste) Mongeau.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, Jan. 24 from 5 to 7p.m. in the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer. Following cremation, burial will be at a later date in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Center of Hope, 40 Optical Dr., Southbridge, Ma. 01550.
