Sandra K. Powers

SPENCER: Sandra K. (Duncan) Powers,73, of Spencer, died Monday, Oct. 30th in St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester after a courageous battle with Lung Cancer.

She was the wife of Francis X. Powers, Jr. whom she was married to for 46 years. He died in 2014. She leaves her daughters; Christine M. Toupin and her husband Scott of Oakham and Kimberly A. Flynn and her husband Kevin of Spencer with whom she lived, her son; Stephen M. Powers and his wife Melissa of Worcester, her brother; Joseph Duncan and his wife Carla of KY., her sisters; Dianna Everling and her husband Michael of Indianapolis, IN and Patricia Feihinger, 5 grandchildren;  Shawna, Makensie, Emily, Michael and Jake, her brother in law; Donald Powers of Lantana, FL., best friend; Denise Benson and her son Nicholas of Worcester, several nieces and nephews.

Sandra was a manager in the deli dept. for Price Chopper Stores for 23 years, She was born in Indianapolis, IN the daughter of General Lee Duncan, Jr. and Rosy Mae (Burns) Duncan.

The family would like to thank Dr. Bradley Switzer and Gary Lockwood (RN) from Reliant Medical Oncology and Infusion for their special attention and kindness.

Her funeral services will be held on Monday, Nov. 6th. at 11 a.m. in the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer. A calling hour will precede the services on Monday from 10 to 11a.m. Burial will be private in St. John's Cemetery, Worcester.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
