Sharon M. Lapierre

SPENCER; Sharon M. (Langelier) Lapierre, 45, of 10 Northwest Rd., died Friday, August 15 at her home surrounded by her family, after a brief but intense battle with cancer.
She leaves her husband of 27 years, Peter A. Lapierre, her mother and step-father, Theresa (Tuttle) Kokansky and John of Barre, a brother Matthew Kokansky of Spencer, a sister, Jackie Langelier of Worcester, a niece, Jenna Morin of Worcester, and a nephew, James Holmes of New Braintree.
Born in Ware she was the daughter of Francis W. Langelier who pre-deceased her.
Mrs. Lapierre was a machine operator at Photonis USA in Sturbridge for 24 years.
She was a graduate of Quabbin High School.
She enjoyed gardening, shopping, and cooking. She loved spending time with her family and dogs. She was also an avid Red Sox fan.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 19 at 10 a.m. in the J. HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terrace. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Monday from 5-8 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA. 01701.
