Shirley E Gustavson

SPENCER: Shirley E. (Osterholm) Gustavson, 92, beloved mother and grandmother of Spencer, died Tuesday July 22nd after a long illness, surrounded by her family. She was the wife of E. Allan Gustavson who died in 2004.
She leaves her daughter Karla G. Shields and her husband Daniel of Spencer, her son Scott A. Gustavson and his wife Teodora of Spencer and her grandson Luke Allan Gustavson and his wife Randi of Oxford.
Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of Walfred and Ellen (Hendrickson) Osterholm. She graduated from Commerce High School in Worcester and attended Quinsigamond Community College, achieving a 4.0 GPA
Shirley worked at the Wolpert Ins. Agency in Worcester, as a Parish Secretary at St. John's Episcopal Church in Worcester, Harr Motor Co. in Worcester and Blanchard Foods Corp. in Worcester.
Shirley enjoyed taking paint to canvas, skiing, played the piano, saxophone and guitar, was an avid Red Sox fan, and was involved in choral and other church activities. Her hugs will be greatly missed.
A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no
calling hours. The J. HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer
are directing arrangements for the family.
