Steven W. Blair

LEICESTER: Steven W. Blair, 71, of Leicester, formerly of Northbridge, passed away suddenly on Tues. Feb. 11th, after a brief illness.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Lisa M. (Peloquin) Blair; 3 children, Melissa (Blair) Manning & her husband Jeremy, of East Brookfield, Matthew Blair, and Alisa Blair both of Leicester; a sister, Susan Lussier of Northbridge; his 4 beloved grandchildren, Audrianna, Camryn, Harrison and Maya; as well as in-laws, nieces, and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Kenneth Blair.

Steven was born and raised in Northbridge, the son of the late William & Marilyn (Wood) Blair. He graduated from Northbridge High School, Class of 1971. He served in the U.S Air Force and on the Northbridge Volunteer Fire Department. He was employed at UMASS Medical School for 38 years until he retired as the Asst. Director of Energy Resources in 2015. Steven was a constant and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He will be missed dearly.

Services will be private. MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester, is assisting the family with arrangements.
