Sylvia E. (Menard) Collette

EAST BROOKFIELD; Sylvia E. (Menard) Collette, 101, of 172 Lakeview Ave., died Sunday, January 13 at Quaboag Rehab and Skilled Care Center in West Brookfield where she had been living for the last two years.

She was the wife of Emile J. Collette who died in 1977.

She leaves her daughter Dianne Hatt and her husband Charles, a son, Paul Collette and his wife Sharon all of E. Brookfield, 4 grandchildren; Laureen Sasseville and her husband Mark, Traci Woodward, Bradley Hatt and his wife Carolyn and Jennifer Hatt, 10 great-grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Carmen Collette in 1958, two brothers; Roland & Edward Menard and a sister Lucille Larson.

Born in Spencer, she was the daughter of Joseph & Laura (Gendreau) Menard.

She was a member of St. John the Baptist Church in E. Brookfield.

The Funeral will be held Tuesday, January 15 from the J. HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer, with a Mass at 10 A.M. in St. John the Baptist Church, No. Brookfield Rd., E. Brookfield. Burial will follow in Mary, Queen of the Rosary Cemetery, Spencer. A calling hour will precede the Mass from 8:30 to 9:30 A.M.
