Thomas "Hollywood" Barnes

SPENCER: Thomas E. Barnes went down swinging, losing his battle peacefully to Pancreatic Cancer on Saturday, July 15, in his home, surrounded by loved ones.

He was the beloved husband of JoAnn (Brackett) Barnes and loving father of Christian.

Formerly of Waltham, he is predceased by his father Donald. He leaves his mother Betty of West Dennis and brother Michael and family of Waltham.

Thomas was formerly employed by Casella Waste Mgt., working in the Town of Holden.

Thomas "Hollywood", could light up a room with his smile. He was charming, witty and kind. He had a great sense of humor. He was a "Star". He loved Cape Cod, Salisbury Beach, nature, animals and family. He shall be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, July 29 at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 7 Church St., Spencer. Burial will be private and at a later date. There are no calling hours.
