CHARLTON/SPENCER: Thomas F. Morrison, Jr., of Charlton and formerly of Spencer,
died suddenly, Friday, March 14th at his home. He leaves his sons; Keith T. Morrison
and his wife Cristy of Spencer, Scott M. Morrison and his wife Michelle of Holden and
Jeffrey W. Morrison and his wife Larisa of Spencer, his sister; Anne Isibel of Leland, NC.,
5 grandchildren; Chelsea, Jacob, Kayla, Patrick and Braeden, 3 great grandchildren;
Braydn, Callie and Brody, nieces and nephews.
He is survived by his longtime companion and dear friend, Tara Schaeffer of Hopatcong,
New Jersey. He is predeceased by his brother; Francis Morrison.
He was born in Worcester, the son of Thomas F. Morrison, Sr. and Mary (Loughlin)
Morrison, and later graduated from St. John's High School in Shrewsbury and Clark
University. He served his country with the US Coast Guard reserves.
Tom was a self-employed plastics salesman and owner of Plastic Services, Inc. for
many years. He was a member of the Society of Plastic Engineers, the Irish Club in
Worcester and enjoyed dual citizenship with Ireland due to his Irish heritage. He was an
avid golfer and was a member at Pine Ridge Country Club and Cohasse Country Club.
In his early years, he was a Boy Scout and achieved the honor of Eagle Scout. In his
retirement, he kept active as courier for Miller's Express Medical Logistics Services and
by bartending at Cohasse Country Club, the Irish Club, and the DCU center.
Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
The J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer is assisting the family with arrangements.
