EAST BROOKFIELD: Timothy J. Harry,68, of E. Brookfield, died Tuesday, Aug. 12th. at St. Francis Home in Worcester after a long illness.
He leaves his sister; Donna Piuze of Worcester, his nephews; Philip M. Piuze of Worcester and Matthew P. Piuze, his wife Amy and his son Christopher J. Piuze of Amherst, NH. his best friend; Theresa Ethier of Spencer and several cousins. He is predeceased by his brother in law; Paul P. Piuze in 2014.
Tim was very active in local sports teams having been a referee for basketball, football, softball, baseball and girls field hockey. He was a member of the Worcester Area Baseball Umpires Assoc., Central Mass. Football Umpires Assoc., I.A.A.B.O. 26, ASA Softball & High School Softball Assoc., Babe Ruth Softball & Baseball Associations. He was a member of the former St. John the Baptist Parish in E. Brookfield.
Born in Webster, he was the son of Nicholas G. and Evelyn R. (Collette) Harry. He served in the US Navy.
A Funeral Mass for Tim will be held on Friday, Aug. 15th at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 7 Church St., Spencer. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery, Worcester with Military Honors. A calling hour in the church from 10 to 11 am. will precede the Mass. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Spencer-E. Brookfield Little League Assoc. P.O. Box 101, Spencer, MA 01562. The J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer is directing arrangements.
