LEICESTER: Tracy Howard Coulter 59, passed away peacefully, February 26th with his loving wife Teri Coulter, his brother Stuart Coulter and wife Barbara Coulter at his side. Tracy is also survived by nieces Carly Coulter; Julia Coulter and husband Austin Lindsey; nephew Paul Coulter and wife Laura; niece Bevin Murphy and husband Chris Scott great niece and nephew Audrey and Patrick; sister in laws Diane Coulter and Marybeth Murphy; and many cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his brother Scott Coulter and nephew John Coulter.
Tracy was born and raised in Williamstown, MA to the late Howard and Camille Coulter. He graduated from Mt. Greylock Regional High School in 1985 and New England College in Henniker NH in 1989. Tracy, an avid amateur cyclist, was on the cross country running and alpine ski teams at MGRHS, and the alpine ski team at NEC. Tracy and Teri were married July 13, 1994, in St John, U.S Virgin Islands. Together they enjoyed hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, camping, trips to the beach and attending concerts of their favorite bands and musicians. Tracy worked for many years in the sporting goods industry.
His most recent job was as a regional merchandiser for Garelick Farms. After being diagnosed with myotonic muscular dystrophy, he fought with unwavering courage, humor and dignified perseverance with the steadfast dedication and support from his wife, family and friends. All who knew Tracy will remember him with a smile and miss him dearly. A celebration of his life will be held later in the year.
