Tynisha Antanavica

LEICESTER: Tynisha Antanavica, 14 of 1163 Main St., died Tuesday, October 20 at home after a long illness.

She leaves her parents, Michael and Roberta (Welch) Antanavica of Leicester, two brothers Garrett Antanavica of Andover and Quinn Antanavica at home, four sisters Marci Antanavica of Worcester, Immaculata Antanavica, Jenny Antanavica and Joslyn Antanavica all at home, her paternal grandparents Theodore and Judith (Dube) Antanavica of Leicester. She is predeceased by her brother Shamal Antanavica Barr, and her maternal grandparents Robert and Theresa (Vandal) Welch.

She was born in New Brunswick, N.J., and moved to her adoptive home with the Antanavica's in Leicester on October 14, 2003.

Tynisha attended Project S.M.I.L.E, a special education class at the Charlton Middle School until April 2008. She loved music, "Barney" videos, butterflies and riding on Papa's boat.

The funeral will be held on Friday, October 23 from the MORIN-MORRISON FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester with a Mass at 11a.m. in St. Pius X Church, 1163 Main St., Leicester. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Leicester. Calling hours are Thursday from 4 to 6p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to UMASS Memorial Hospice, 650 Lincoln St., Worcester, 01605.
