Veronica Blanche Schonberg

Veronica Blanche Schonberg, 86, of 241 Pleasant St., died
Thursday, January, 31 at her home.
She leaves her husband of 64 years Quentin Joseph Schonberg, a son Matthew
J. Schonberg and his wife Lynn of Holbrook, N.Y., two daughters; Pamela S.
Hanley and her husband Joseph of Leicester, Cecilia Alles and her husband
Terence of Goffstown, N.H., four grandchildren; Paul M. Hanley, Elizabeth R.
Hanley, Brendan M. Schonberg and Alexandra K. Schonberg and several nieces
and nephews.
Born in Brooklyn, N.Y. she was the daughter of Joseph Paul & Mary Elizabeth
(Reehil) Weldon and lived 52 years in Mineola, N.Y. before moving here.
Mrs. Schonberg was a bookkeeper at Joe Beck Desk Co. in Mineola, N.Y.,
retiring in 1984.
She was a graduate of Jamaica High School in Queens.
She was a member of the Rosary and Altar Society as a parishioner of Corpus
Christi Parish in N.Y.
The funeral will be held Monday, February 4 from the MORRISON-MORIN FUNERAL
HOME, 1131 Main St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church, 759 Main
St., Leicester. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Leicester.
Calling hours are Sunday from 1-3 p.m. in the funeral home.
