Virginia E. Charette

CHARLTON: Virginia E. (Gorham) Charette,72, of Charlton, died Saturday, Sept. 26th at UMASS Medical Center, Worcester. She leaves her husband of 50 years, Ronald E. Charette, her son, Christopher E. Charette of New Smyrna Beach, FL., her brothers; Paul, Jacob, her deceased brothers; Samuel, David and Raymond Gorham, sisters; Rosie Dotterer and Martha Fisher, deceased sisters Lula, Dorothy and Bertha, 4 grandchildren; Drake, Olivia, Timothy and Preston Charette. She is predeceased by her son; Matthew Charette in 2018. She was born in Lock Haven, PA., the daughter of Raymond and Naomi (Messner) Gorham. She was a longtime member of the Leicester Church of Christ and also President of the Charlton Garden Club for 20 years. Calling hours for Virginia will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 30th from 4 to 6 p.m., in the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer. A funeral service will be held at the conclusion of the visitation at 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Leicester Church of Christ, 2 Church Pl., Rochdale, MA 01542.
