Virginia A. (Kraus) Moughan 39 of 109 Forest Dr., died Monday, Sept. 6 at Umass Memorial Hospital in Worcester after a long battle with cancer.She was the beloved wife of Thomas P. Moughan of 8 years, and devoted mother to her daughters Sarah E. and Emily K. Moughan, loving daughter of Ronald J. Kraus, Sr. of Nashua, N.H. and Virginia A. (Hogan) Kraus of Shrewsbury, Ma. . She leaves her maternal grandmother Stella M. Hogan of Venice, Fl., three brothers Ronald J. Kraus, Jr. of Medfield, Ma., Kevin J. Kraus of SanRafael, Calif., and Ethan M. Kraus of Nashua, N.H., two sisters Heather M. Kraus of Shrewsbury and Allison P. Kraus of Nashua, N.H., several nieces, nephews and two uncles.Mrs. Moughan was a registered nurse and case manager at Allmerica Financial Corp. in Worcester, where she worked for the past 6 years.She graduated from Notre Dame Academy in Worcester (1983), St. Anselm's College (1987) and Regis-Lawrence Memorial Hospital School of Nursing (1995). She was a member of St. George's Church in Worcester. Virginia was a two time bone marrow donor to her brother. She was a very compassionate and giving individual who quietly touched many lives.The funeral will be held Saturday, Sept. 11 from the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer, Ma. with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. George's Church, 40 Brattle St., Worcester. Burial will follow in Mary,Queen of the Rosary Cemetery, Spencer. Calling hours are Friday, Sept. 10 from 4 to 7p.m. Please omit flowers, contributions may be made to the Virginia A.
