Walter E. Chase

LEICESTER: Walter E. Chase, 61, of Charles Street died Sunday, April 13 in his home after an illness.

He leaves his daughters Tammy L. Chase of Leicester and Tracy L. Sposato and her husband Donald of Worcester, two Sisters Dorothy Stockenberg of Florida and Alice Pong of Worcester, 10 grandchildren and a great-granddaughter. He was pre-deceased by two brothers Joseph & Stanley Chase.

Walter was born in Worcester, son of Stanley Chase and Dorothy (Lameroux) Charboneau. He was a machinist at Dearborn National. He enjoyed playing bingo, going to the casino and flea markets.

The funeral will be held Wednesday, April 16 at 11:00 AM in MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main Street, Leicester. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A calling hour will precede the funeral from 10:00-11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Reliant Foundation-Oncology Fund, 100 Front Street, 6th Floor, Worcester, MA 01608.
