EAST BROOKFIELD: Wayne I. Coran, 76, of E.Brookfield, died suddenly, Sunday, Dec. 31st.
He leaves his wife of 52 years, Colleen E. (Gagne) Coran, his son; Christopher Coran and his wife Wendy of Charlton, his daughter; Stacey Daley and her husband Ryan of Hardwick, his brothers; Mark Coran and his wife Diane of Ohio, Gary Coran of Oregon, and Neil Coran and his wife Patricia of Spencer, his sisters; Kathy Fleming and her husband Dean of Templeton, Audrey Etienne of Oregon, Arlene Bonneau of Spencer, Christine Sundquist and her husband Mark of Vermont, Cynthia Bergeron and her husband Robert of Oxford, and Caryl Lopez and her husband Samuel of Ohio, and his beloved grandchildren, Tara, Lauren, Chad, Jared and Deven, and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by a brother; Brian Coran and a sister; Nancy Coran. He was born in Worcester, the son of Iris and Carolyn (Carlson) Coran.
Wayne was a heavy equipment operator for 37 years for R.H. White Construction in Auburn before retiring in 1998. He was an avid outdoorsman and bass fisherman. He enjoyed playing poker with his friends and spending time with his family and grandchildren.
A public graveside service will be held on Thursday, Jan. 11th at 11 a.m. in Pine Grove Cemetery, Rte. 31 N., Spencer. There are no calling hours. The J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Spencer Fish & Game Club, 155 Mechanic St., Spencer, MA 01562.
