Wesley Z.. Brown

SPENCER: Wesley Z. Brown 81, formerly of 18 Grove St., died Monday March 9.
He was the husband of Shirley R. (Gray) Brown who died in 2013. He leaves a son Dale W. Brown and his wife Laurie of Sutton, and a daughter Susan J. Bernardino and her husband James of Charlton, two grandchildren, Riley and Haley Brown. He is predeceased by his son Scott W. Brown.
Wesley was a salesman and later a forklift driver for Polar Beverages in Worcester, retiring in 2001.
Born in Gardner, he was the son of Herman and Rena (Kirby) Brown and later served his country with the U.S. Army during the Korean War.He was a former member and Past President of the Spencer Exchange Club. He enjoyed gardening, photography and walking in the woods.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will take place at a later date in Pine Grove Cemetery, Spencer. Please omit flowers. Memorial contributions may be made to Friends of Quabbin, 485 Ware Road, Belchertown, MA 01007.
