Wilfred W. Bishop

SPENCER: Wilfred W. Bishop, 82, of Terkanian Drive died Saturday, Dec. 3 in UMass Memorial Hospital after an illness.

He leaves his wife of 58 years, Jeannette A. (Paradis) Bishop, his daughter Nancy A. Bishop and her companion Mark LaPierre of Spencer, a brother George Bishop of East Brookfield, a sister Beverly Hickey of East Brookfield and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Bishop was born in Spencer, son of George and Lillian (Cote) Bishop. He was a machinist for 20 years at Coppus Engineering retiring in 1993. He was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Church. He was an avid baseball fan and enjoyed playing cards, keno, reading and watching movies.

The funeral will be held Tuesday, Dec. 6 from J. HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer with a Mass at 11:00 am in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 7 Church Street, Spencer. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A calling hour will precede the funeral from 9:30-10:30 AM.
