William R. Sundgren

William R. Sundgren,80, of 33 Winslow Ave., died Wednesday, April
12 at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester.
He was the husband of Ruth G. (Lefave) Sundgren who died in 2004. He leaves
a son Gary W. Sundgren with whom he lived, a brother Roy Sundgren of Vero
Beach, Fl., nieces and nephews.
Mr. Sundgren was a longtime Leicester Police Officer before retiring in
1976. He was an Army veteran of WWII serving in the No.Atlantic and Pacific
Theaters. He was a member of the Leicester Federated Church. He attended the
former Commerce High in Worcester.
Born in Worcester, he was the son of Joel and Jennie (Ljungberg) Sundgren.
Funeral Service will be held Monday, Apr. 17 at 11a.m. in the MORRISON-MORIN
FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester. Burial will follow in Worcester
County Memorial Park, Paxton. A calling hour will precede the funeral on
Monday from 10 to 11a.m. in the funeral home.
