Clifford P Goyette

LEICESTER: Clifford P. Goyette,78, of Leicester, died Wednesday, June 11th at home. His wife of 45 years, Karen A. (Welch) Goyette, died in 2011.
He leaves his daughter; Cindy L. Maki and her husband Michael of Rutland, his grandson; Michael E. Maki, Jr. of Leicester, many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by a brother; Normand Goyette of Coco Beach, Fl. in 2024.
Cliff was a longtime truck driver for Consolidated Beverages and then later worked in the custodial dept. for the Town of Leicester. He was born in Worcester, the son of Normand and Margaret D. (Noble) Goyette and later graduated from Wachusett Regional High School in Holden. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 4528, and the Fraternal Order of Eagles. He was an avid hunter and archer. He enjoyed playing pool with his friends at the K. Of C. Hall in Leicester.
Funeral services for Cliff, will be held on Friday, June 20th at 11 a.m. in the MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A calling hour will be held prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m.
