Margaret M. Collette

SPENCER: Margaret M. (Carney) Collette,73, passed away on Tuesday, December 26th. at the Life Care Center of Auburn. She was born in Fitchburg, the daughter of Leo and Helen (McAuliff) Carney. She was the wife of Ronald J. Collette, who died on August 24, 2023. She graduated from St. Bernards High School in Fitchburg. She worked many years as a key punch operator for Jamesbury Corporation in Worcester. She volunteered at the First Congregational Church Thrift Shop and in her spare time enjoyed crocheting.
She leaves her daughters; Susan Scott and her husband, Ross of Shrewsbury and Julie Collette of Spencer, grandchildren; Jacob Collette, Thomas Scott, and Alissa Scott, her sister; Patricia Myer and her husband, Kenneth of Leominster as well as many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her sister Kathleen Anke.
The funeral will be held Thursday, January 4, 2024 from the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer with a funeral Mass at 10:00am in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 7 Church St., Spencer. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, January 3 from 4:00-6:00pm.
