Robert J. Laincz

LEICESTER: Robert J. Laincz, 96, of Leicester died Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at his home with his loving family. He is survived by his devoted wife of 72 years, Frances A. (Rabidou) Laincz, three children, son, David P. Laincz of Atchison, KS and daughters, Jean L. Peloquin and her husband Gary of Brooklyn, CT, and Linda G. Podmostka and fiancé Mike Butler of Holden, MA. He was a proud grandfather of Matt (Bobbie) Laincz, Kati (Jason) Bryan, Julie (Jeremy) Baril, Lisa (Bryan) Conforti, Alan (Gaby) Podmostka, and Jeff Peloquin and great-grandchildren Anna, Halle, Izzy, Lily, Connor, Hailey, Logan, Natalie, and Amber. He also leaves several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Florence R. Williams.

Born in Holden, he was the son of James S. Laincz and Mary Edna (White) Beron.
Bob proudly served his country in the Air Force during WWII. He worked as a machinist at Norton Co./St.
Gobain for 30 years, retiring in 1991.
He was a life member of the Polish American Veterans Club.
